How Does Microneedling Work?
The concept of microneedling is based on the natural ability for your skin to heal after physical damage such as cuts or burns.
When your skin is injured, it reuses the damaged collagen and elastin fibres to produce new ones.
This is similar to how microneedling works, as it allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self repair mechanism. By creating micro-‘injuries’ in the skin which triggers the production of collagen without the risk of permanent scarring, you can benefit from smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.
